Our room was spacious, featuring tatami mats and wonderful views of the surrounding nature. Dinner was exceptional, with beautifully presented vegetarian dishes served in a lovely private room, creating an intimate dining experience. However, the breakfast was quite different from what I expected, as it leaned heavily into traditional Japanese flavors. I found the lack of a clear introduction to the temple’s history somewhat disappointing, as I wanted to immerse myself more in its culture. Additionally, communication was sometimes a challenge due to the language barrier with the staff, which left some questions unanswered. While the morning service was meaningful, I felt it could have been more engaging and informative. The experience, while unique, highlights both the beauty of the temple and some areas that could enhance guest interactions.

The yukata provided woudl ve been small for taller men. really unthoughtful! the slippers were massive and slippy on the stairs, quite a hazard, really. i expected at least a complimentary gift but got nothing. i almost considered a good review for the beauty, but just couldn't.
